Success Stories: Passport to the World Camp July 11-15, 2005

While the Maine Chapter hosted the Peace Is Village this summer, there was a week of international studies going on at the Page Farm and Home Museum for 21 local students from our Maine communities. The camp, called Passport to the World, involved children ranging in age from 5-10 (K - 5th grade). As a CISV and Stillwater Montessori School sponsored activity, the purpose of the camp was for the children to learn about other countries in the world. By attending Open Day at the Village, the participants were able to meet children from these countries.
